Has a good message

Alif

Cast: Neelima Azeem, Danish Hussain, Bhavna Pani, Pawan Tiwari Saud Mansuri

Rated: 5.5/10

There was many movies that have a message to give but few that emphasize the need and importance of education. Alif, in that sense is an attempt in the right direction. Kudos to director Zaigham Imam for this attempt.

The director himself says that his movie is not a great one that the focus of his project is to send across a message to a certain section of the society. Well, one just has to wait and see if they appreciate the film.

This means that there are several flaws here. First, the acting lets you down. If it were not for for Neelima Azeem and Saud Mansuri who plays Ali, the entire film would have been difficult to salvage. Then there is the fact that a 12-year-old becomes a doctor at 17! Or has he just cleared his medical examIJ Not very clear.

Alif may have been made with very good intentions but poor acting and execution is its downfall. The only reason why this film gets brownie points is for its message.
